“Good Vibes” Animation Series
Status: Table reading for pilot to take place in November

Alan Tudyk has been cast to narrate and voice the character of an “old surf bum” for the half hour pilot of the animation series “Good Vibes”. The series pilot was picked up by Fox in September and table readings for the show are expected to take place in November with screening considered for the Spring.

“Good Vibes” is based around two high school surfers living near the beach in California. Other actors lending their voices to the series include: Josh Gad [Back to You], Adam Brody [The OC], Debi Mazar [Entourage], Olivia Thirlby [New York I Love You], and Jake Busey [Broken].

20th Century Fox TV is producing “Good Vibes” which is written by David Gordon Green [Pineapple Express] and animated by “The Simpsons” artist Brad Ableson.

Tudyk will play a gay business partner in the TV series. One of 17 being considered by ABC for a mid-season pickup, the comedy was well received by audiences at the recent ABC Upfront Presentation. Behind the helm are Will & Grace creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.

A comedy about another mismatched couple. Instead of a gay male lawyer and a straight female interior designer, the central figures this time are best friends and business partners ? both guys, one straight, one gay. Source
